Voyagers Fall Meeting, 2010

The Voyagers 2010 Fall Meeting will be held at the Staybridge Suites in McLean, VA, outside Washington, D.C. We will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, and conclude at noon on Friday.

As has been the practice, there will be family of origin groups, congregational case studies, theology and theory discussions, and Voyager's Night Out.

Presenters for this meeting are Dr. Michael Kerr and Kathleen Kerr. The topic of their presentations is Marriage , and they will be presenting Thursday morning and afternoon. (This presentation will be open to the public. Watch for further details regarding location and cost for individuals who are not registered for the Voyagers program.)

Dr. Michael Kerr is the Director of the Bowen Center for the Study of the Family. Widely recognized as a leading teacher of Bowen Theory, as well as a leading researcher, Dr. Kerr has been with the Voyagers a number of times in the past.

Kathleen Kerr, MSN, MA, also has presented to the Voyagers. Her interests include mother- offspring relationships, and the relationship of Bowen Theory and other systems thinking. .

Registration and Fees

Fall Meeting Registration: $300

Annual Membership Fee: $100

Room & Meals: $300.

Breakfast is provided each morning in the hotel. Tentatively, Tuesday and Thursday dinners, and Thursday lunch are covered by the "Room & Meals" fee.

Wednesday evening is "Voyagers Night Out" which is Dutch treat.

Wednesday lunch is "on your own."

To reserve your place, please send the Fall Meeting Registration Fee ($300) plus $50 Room and Meals deposit, plus the Annual membership fee of $100 (if you have not already paid this) to Michael Jupin (address below). Please make checks payable to "Voyagers."

VOYAGERS CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

1. For cancellations made up to the registration due date a full refund will be made.

2. For cancellations after the registration due date and up to two weeks prior to the beginning of the scheduled meeting a registrant will be given a credit of 50% of the registration fee plus the room deposit toward the next Voyagers meeting the registrant attends.

3. No refund or credit of the registration fee will be given if the cancellation comes less than two weeks prior to the scheduled meeting except in cases of illness or family emergency in which case the 50% credit will apply. The room deposit will still be credited toward the next Voyagers meeting the registrant attends.

4. The $ 100 annual Voyagers membership fee is not related to participation in any particular meeting and will not be refunded.
